CIO Placed for Global Health Investment Corporation by Occam

In January 2025, Occam Global recruited Vidya Vasu-Devan as Chief Investment Officer of Global Health Investment Corporation (GHIC), a leading New York-based impact fund focused on global health innovation for more than a decade. Limited Partners include The German government and BARDA.

Vidya previously served as Chief Strategy Officer of a venture-backed newco focused on vaccine development after spending over a decade in leadership investment roles at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. There, she most recently served as Director of the Foundation's Strategic Investment Fund.

Vidya began her career in healthcare and financial services investment banking with Goldman Sachs. She holds a B.A. in Astrophysics from Columbia University and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
